Who this is for

Is this right for you?

A fit if

  • You are an established business or nonprofit. Your website makes you look smaller than you are.
  • What you do is hard to explain, and the site is not helping.
  • You want visitors to do one thing: request a quote, donate, book, call.
  • You need English and French.
  • You want to own the site and update it yourselves.

Not a fit if

  • You need an online store. We do not build e-commerce.
  • You need a site live this month.
  • You only need a simple starter site. Squarespace or Webflow is a good choice for that. Email us when you outgrow it.
What usually brings people here

The website is years behind the organization.

Your sales team keeps explaining things the website should explain.

People call to ask what you do.

Nobody on staff can update it.

What you get

What’s included.

Everything from the first plan to launch day. One project. You know exactly what you get.

Plan & design

A clear message. A look of your own.

  • A plan

A first meeting, a list of your pages, and a plan for what each page says. You approve it.

  • Help with your words

We plan each page, write the headlines and button text, and edit your text so it is clear.

  • Creative direction and design

We establish the visual direction first: typography, colour, composition, imagery and references. You approve it before we design the full site.

  • One clear next step

A simple way to ask for a quote, donate, book or send a question. The form goes to the right person.

Build & connect

Ready for your visitors, on every screen.

  • Works on every screen

Up to 12 pages, built from up to 6 different page designs. It looks right on a phone, a tablet and a computer.

  • Ready for English and French

Visitors can switch languages. Your team edits both in one place.

  • Set up for Google

We set up each page so Google can read it. Links to your old site keep working. You can see how many people visit.

  • Accessibility

Built so people with disabilities can use it. We work toward the WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines.

Launch & own

The site is yours. You know how to use it.

  • Easy to update

Your team can change any page. We train you once and record it, so new staff can watch it later.

  • Launch

We launch together on a call. Your site lives in your own account, not ours.

  • After launch

14 days of fixes, followed by a check-in call.

Not included in the base price: writing all your text, text in a second language, photos and video, logo and branding, and outside fees like your web address.

Built in on every site

  • Accessible.

Built with WCAG 2.2 AA as the target: readable contrast, full keyboard use, labelled forms and alt text. Screen-reader testing is included before launch.

  • Privacy-ready for Quebec.

Marketing tracking stays off until visitors agree. Forms collect only what you need, and your privacy policy lists every tool the site uses. Our privacy policy explains how we count visits without cookies.

  • Fast.

Pages built in code, without a page-builder plugin stack. We share the speed scores at launch.

  • Yours.

Your domain, hosting and accounts are in your name from day one.

  • Bilingual from the start.

Built for English and French. French text is written or reviewed by a Quebec French writer, quoted separately. Second-language content is scoped and priced before we start.

What custom means

Custom, where it counts.

Custom means the site is designed around your content, your buyers and the one action you need from them. It is not a theme with your logo on it.

We build your site in code with Next.js, without WordPress add-ons that need constant updates. Your content stays separate from the design, making future changes easier.

  • Speed

Fast pages are easier to use. Google measures speed, and we share your site’s results at launch.

  • Security

No WordPress add-ons that need constant updates. We use a focused set of tools and keep the site’s software up to date.

  • Lower running costs

Fewer recurring plugin licences and a simpler maintenance setup. Hosting costs depend on your traffic and the services your site needs.

  • A longer life

Your text and photos are stored apart from the design. So when you want a new look, you keep all your content.

What clients have seen

What clients have seen

Angled, overlapping views of Tesseract’s homepage and facade shop drawings service page.

Tesseract Drafting & Design

“I wanted a website that clearly communicates what Tesseract does and moves visitors toward action, and that’s exactly what it’s doing. It’s already bringing in quote requests. The process was genuinely collaborative, and the result is a site I’m proud to put in front of clients. Highly recommend.”

Hangout Café

“From the start, they were the most patient company ever, making the whole process simple and easy. The impact has been huge. We’ve seen a significant increase in both online bookings and phone reservations directly from the site. I finally have an easier process and more customers, which is exactly what I needed.”

How it goes

Six to eight weeks, with a clear plan.

We plan your pages with you first. The six to eight weeks start when we have your main text and photos.

StageWhat we doWhat we need from you
Weeks 1 to 2

Plan

A first meeting. A page list. A plan for what each page says.

Your main text and photos are ready before the clock starts. During planning: your logo, logins and approval of the page list within three business days.

Weeks 2 to 4

Design

An approved creative direction, a homepage preview, then the full set of page designs.

One list of changes per round, within three business days. Your OK in writing at the end.

Weeks 4 to 7

Build

The build, the editor, your forms and your text, on a private link.

A review of the private link for anything broken, then your OK in writing.

Weeks 7 to 8

Launch

A launch call, hosting set up in your account, and a recorded training session.

The final payment the day before the launch call. On the call, someone who can log in to your web address (domain) account.

If you need more time to reply, the launch date moves by the same number of days. Content is what slows most projects, so we plan it with you at the first meeting.

What it costs

One fixed price. A short list of add-ons.

From $6,000 CAD

Most projects land between $6,000 and $12,000. You get one fixed price in writing before you agree to anything.

50% to start. 50% before launch. Prices in Canadian dollars, plus tax.

Optional add-ons

Second language (you supply the text)from $1,500
Care plan$400 a month
Full copywritingQuoted as a fixed price

Anything else is quoted as a fixed price before we start.

Optional care plan

Each month: up to two hours of changes to your text and photos, software and safety updates, uptime monitoring, and a hosting usage check. Your site stays in your own hosting account. Every three months we review the site with you on a call. Three months to start, then month to month with 14 days’ notice.

Yours to keep

It is yours when we are done.

Ownership

When you make the final payment, the website is yours: the design, the text and photos, the code and the accounts. It lives in your account, not ours. If you ever want another developer to work on it, they can.

Sanity, the editor we usually set up

Next.js runs the site. We usually set up Sanity for editing, or another editor that fits your project. We organize it around your content so your team can use it easily.

  • Next.js
  • Sanity
  • Staff can publish a page, a project or a news post without a manual.
  • Many developers know both tools. So you never have to stay with us.

After launch

14 days of fixes are included, followed by a check-in call. From there you can run the site yourselves, or have us look after it.

Care plan

Updates, checks that your site is up, and a review every three months.

Marketing

Bring the right people to the new site.

Automation

Route questions into your customer software (CRM) and automate the follow-up.

Why Clevr

Four reasons clients choose us.

  • Clarity first

We work out what to say before we decide how it looks.

  • English and French

Every site is ready for English and French from day one. We are in Montreal.

  • A published starting price

You know where prices start before you talk to us. Your fixed price comes in writing before you agree.

  • A project lead, start to finish.

Your project lead guides the work and keeps you informed at every stage.

Questions we hear before every project

How long does a project take?
Six to eight weeks once we have your text and photos. We set the dates at the first meeting. If you need more time to reply, we adjust the launch date with you.
What do you need from us?
One person who can approve decisions, your main text, your logo and your photos. We send a list of exactly what each page needs, so nothing is a guess.
Who writes the content?
You know your organization best, so you write the main text. We plan every page, write the headlines and buttons, and edit your text so it is clear. Full copywriting is also available as an add-on.
Do we own the website?
Yes. After the final payment, you own the website as delivered: the design, text, photos, code and accounts. We keep the right to reuse general pieces of code in other projects. You can use them in your site forever. If you leave us, you take your website with you.
Can our team update it without you?
Yes. Every website we build includes a content management system (CMS), so your team can update text, change images and add pages, projects or news posts without a developer. We train your team at launch and record the session.
What about hosting and our domain?
Hosting is set up in your own account at launch, and your domain stays in your name. We do not resell hosting, so you are never locked in.
We already have a website. Will we lose our Google rankings?
We map old page links to the right new pages so existing links keep working, and preserve useful content and search metadata. This helps protect your search visibility, though rankings can change during a redesign and cannot be guaranteed.
How does the French version work?
The site is built for two languages from the start: pages, menus, forms and error messages. Adding the French content costs from $1,500 when you supply the French text. If you want a Quebec French writer to write or review it, we quote that separately.
Is the site accessible?
We build toward WCAG 2.2 AA, including readable contrast, keyboard navigation and clear form labels. We test before launch and tell you anything that still needs work. We do not issue accessibility certificates.
Why not WordPress or a page builder?
We build in code so the site stays fast and there are no plugins to keep patching. Your team still edits content in a simple editor.
What happens after launch?
We fix anything that comes up in the first 14 days, then hold a check-in call. After that you can run the site yourselves or ask us to look after it on the care plan.
Do you work outside Montreal?
Yes. We work with clients across Canada and in the United States by video call.
